Red Empress
Red Empress 1988 SI 98 by Six Fols out of Sovereigna by Sovereign TB.Some way a horse trader talked me into keeping an older broodmare til he got her in foal to Special Leader. After 3 months she wasn't in foal and he couldn't pay the bills so he sold her to me. My vet discovered she had a torn cervix and could not carry her own foal. He pointed out what a big TB looking mare she was with a lot of speed and good earnings forher day. He thought she'd be worth a shot as a donor mare. The Special Leader cross looked good so we gave it a try. 2004 foal - colt Red Leader by Special Leader was a big strong good looking colt and sold to
a Mexican buyer at the TQHA sale for $9750. The buyer raced him as a match horse and was so pleased that he had me ship him Red Empress other 2004 embryo transfer colt by Streakin Sixes sight unseen. He also agreed to buy her 2005 breeding to Streakin Sixes but unfortunately the reciprocal mare slipped the foal. Pay close attention to race record and you will see why I think that Red Empress is a steal at  $1250 .

2007 breeding  per reciprocal  mare by First Smart Money. Even though the embryo transfer adds about $3500 to stud fee she will still make money. Her 2nd  embryo transfer this year is to A Usual Suspect.

luck as strangles hit my hard - she was one of two we lost.
